Dark as hell, Joker takes you on the terrifying journey of Arthur Fleck, from becoming a clown and a want to be a stand-up comic (with just one joke in his hand) to being THE JOKER, but this journey never appeared unreal, unlike that of a hulk or a spiderman. This trip was very human, rational and wonderfully graphed and captured.

Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight was my favourite joker to date, and Joaquin Phoenix brought Heath's legacy to another dimension, that chuckle, that dance, that run, that stroll, you can't get over that.

Talking about the other aspects of the film, the background music was the soul of the film, if not the psyche and crazy of the joker himself, the cinematography, the funding of the film, the direction, all was right about money, the film dealt quite cleverly with the condition of America at the time (the Gotham city). Unemployment, growing influence in the hands of the wealthy. It was all about a stand and a speech (be it good or bad) against the existing authority to become the 'HERO,' which has further become the justification for the growth in murders and crime in the region.
