Absolutely Amazing movie. They did a great job in bringing back the old cast while setting up the new cast for more ghost busting to come. This is the movie we ghostbusters fans have waited for. It took 30+ years but it was worth the wait. Ghostbusters has stood the test of time. This movie invites all age groups (minor cursing) and has a healthy mix of comedy and scary movie. Is this one better then the originals in the 80s? No, however, it belongs in the trilogy. It earned its place amount the prior two. The Nostalgia, comedy, and plot are top notch. I watched Ghostbusters 1 & 2 a few days before seeing this one and it didn’t disappoint. So many Easter Eggs and detail was attended to. It really felt like an original Ghostbusters classic. I felt like it was a lot of story to tell in a short period of time (2 hrs) but they did a great job at moving the story along. As a die hard ghostbusters fan, I would’ve loved to see more busting of ghosts but I understand why it was important to bridge the gap of so many years. I have a feeling they’ll plenty of ghost-busting in future films. YES! Teaser! They set us up for at least another film. Who knows, if the franchise to really gain some traction than maybe we can get Netflix serious that fills in the years of the old cast, I really wanna know what Egon was doing for all those years with the set up he’s got in the movie.
